Gearity Book Fair is Coming!

The PTA is sponsoring our Spring Book Fair the week of April 24th. We need volunteers to assist with students shopping for home libraries. Order information will be coming home soon.

Muffins with Moms April 27th

Please join us for refreshments and an opportunity to see old friends or make new ones. Grandmas, Aunts, and family friends are welcome if a mom is not available to bring her children. If we have inclement weather the event will move to the gym from the back playground.

Fundraiser to Support Arts Education

Mobius, which was formally RoxARTs, is hosting a fundraiser to support arts integration into all CHUH schools classrooms. All parents are invited to a fun night out that includes an auction of cool items, music and food.

Remaining OST Tests Schedule

Gearity 3rd through 5th grade students took both parts of the reading test this past week. All 3rd - 5th grade students will take math this upcoming week. It is important that all students get a good night's rest prior to each test session and that they have a hearty breakfast the morning of their assessment sessions.

OST Spring Testing Dates 3rd-5th Grades

Math - April 18 & 19

Science (5th only) - April 25 & 27

Please encourage your students to take their time, double check their answers and write well thought out responses to each assessment prompt. Our students are amazing and their performance on the OST's will confirm what we already know!

Metro Health Mobile Clinic will Return April 24th

The Metro Health Clinic will be back at Gearity on April 24th.

What services does MetroHealth provide?
• Physicals (annual/sports/work permit)
• Injury/illness care
• Routine lab tests
• Teen services
• Mental/behavioral health
• Immunizations
• Care for chronic conditions, including asthma, allergies, diabetes and seizure disorders
• Health education and prevention
• Telehealth, to supplement in-person care

You can contact the school nurse (320-4854) or the Metro staff via the School Health main line (216.957.1303) to schedule an appointment. You can also Call/Text/Email the Metro Social Worker, Ms. Ford, at 216.339.0242/ Aford4@metrohealth.org or Metro Nurse, Ms. Bissett, at 216.389.4670/ kbissett@metrohealth.org to schedule a visit.
