Principal's Message
I would like to welcome you to Niton Central School for the 2023-2024 school year. The staff and I are looking forward to another great year full of learning for our students. I am overjoyed to be back at Niton Central School after my last two years as an assistant principal in Edson. I always enjoyed my time spent at NCS and am thrilled to be able to be back in my new role as principal. As we all transition from summer mode into the school year, we are filled with excitement to see our students on Tuesday, September 5th for their first day!
We have a few new staff members joining the NCS team this year. Our new teachers to NCS are Ms. Konchakowski as our kindergarten and grade 1 teacher, Ms. Setzer as our grade 4/5 teacher, and Ms. Dunne as our junior high math and science teacher. We also have Ms. Carpenter returning as our grade 2/3 teacher, Mr. Stoyles as our junior high humanities and CTF teacher, and Mrs. DeLeeuw as our options and arts teacher. Ms. Cave and Ms. K will be our support staff as well as Ms. Brandy as our administrative assistant. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to our open house and meet some of our staff. We are also having a welcome back BBQ/ Meet the Teacher Night on September 7th from 4:00 - 6:00, if you are able to come to the school that evening, we would love to see you.
If you are looking for additional information about the school like bell times, student handbook, upcoming events, and more, be sure to check out the school website, Niton Central School.
As we dive into this school year, please remember that I am here to help support your child. Feel free to reach out by calling the school, stopping in, or emailing me. I am looking forward to working together throughout this year to best support your child on their educational journey.
Here is to a great year,
Bailey Benson
