Announcements & Updates

- Reminder: When there is a delayed opening (10:30 a.m. start), there are no before school activities, including clubs, tutoring, and the Lions' Den. Students should not arrive to school earlier than 10:15 as there is no supervision provided prior to that time.

- A reminder that students will dismiss at 1:00 on November 1, 2, and 3 to allow for Parent/Teacher conferences. Lunch is not served on early dismissal days; students may bring a snack.

- All Winter sports physicals (Basketball, Non-competitive Cheer) and related paperwork are due by Monday, November 8 to be cleared by Dr. Porter on November 11. Please refer to the Student Athlete Information page for instructions and links to all forms. Tryouts are scheduled to begin the week of November 15.

- Mountain View Middle School was recently recognized by the U.S. News in their new “Best Schools” ranking for middle schools, finishing in the top 3% at #28.

Happy Friday Mountain View! Thank you to everyone who participated in our Red Ribbon spirit week this week; it was a blast seeing everyone all dressed up. Our students were busy all week bringing their creative ideas for our drug-free door decorating contest to life. Everyone’s door looks amazing, and we are all so impressed with the students' creativity and artistic abilities. It was hard to pick our winners!
