- 11/15: Multiplication Test on 7s

ELA
Students will:
- Main idea and how it is supported by key details; summarize text.
- Compare and contrast accounts of the same event.
- Introduce a topic, group related information together in paragraphs and sections.
- Develop topic with information and examples related to the topic.
- Use precise language and domain-specific vocabulary to inform about the topic.
- Produce writing with development and organization appropriate to task.
- Conduct short research projects that build knowledge through different aspects of a specific topic.
- Produce complete sentences, correcting fragments and run-ons.
- Correctly use frequently confused words.
- Use common grade appropriate Greek and Latin affixes and roots.
MATH
Students will:
- Interpret, model and solve multiplicative comparisons.
- Solve multiplication equations with a number up to four-digits with a one-digit number.
- Solve multiplication equation with two-digit numbers.
- Solve division equations involving up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors.
- Solve division equations where remainders must be interpreted.
- Solve multi-step problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Measure time and objects; analyze graphical displays.
- Mathematical Practices
SCIENCE
In SCIENCE students will:
- Flow of energy in water as it changes states
- Pathways water takes during the water cycle: evaporation, condensation, and precipitation
- Use of instruments in gathering weather data and making forecasts
- Interpret data from weather maps to make informed weather predictions
- Cloud types
- Difference between weather and climate
DISMISSAL ROUTINES
If your child has a change in transportation please contact the front office, as well as me.
Please note that due to dismissal routines, the school cannot accommodate early releases after 3:15 pm.
