What's Happening ?? !!

Dear Hawley Parents/Guardians,

It was a short week but a busy week: 2 Open Houses, a PTA Meeting, and lots of fun and learning.

Here's What's Happening at Hawley.......

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for making the time to come spend the evening with us. We enjoyed sharing with you the work the students are doing and the ways you can help.

Your continuous interest in and support of

your child's education is greatly appreciated.

Mrs. S's class was charged with using materials any way that they wanted to invent and/or create something of interest. They then took a Gallery Walk to enjoy and share compliments.

As shared at Open House, the start of school is 9:05 AM. Students really should be unpacked, settled and in classrooms by 9:05 AM. All buses are here and gone by 8:55 AM.

The back doors, with staff supervision, are now closed at 9:00 AM, even if cars are in line. Students arriving after that time will need to be brought in the main entrance and signed in by an adult. FYI- students arriving after 9:05 AM are marked late.

Membership: The Hawley PTA would love for everyone to be a part of the organization.

Fri, Oct 5: 2-Hr Delayed Opening for Professional Development (11:05 am)

Mr. M passed two students walking in the hallway and asked, "Where are you guys off to?"

"I am going to lunch" the first student replied

"Why?" asked Mr. M

"To eat lunch" the student answered giggling

The other student said, "I am going to the bathroom"

"Oh, to take a bath" stated Mr. M

"No, I did that last night"
