Google has launched a new Screencast App specifically for Chromebooks. Screencast video is automatically saved in your Google Drive. While recording you can annotate, use your webcam and bring documents or presentations to life. What's even better is once the file is saved Google will transcribe the audio saved on the file. You can then edit and share the screencast with teachers of students. To try out the new Screencast app you will need a Chromebook that is running version 103 or higher of ChromeOS. We spend so long in Gmail just writing emails to others that you have probably overlooked one feature that has been added called Spaces, if not, look under Chat and you will see the new app within Gmail. Spaces are meant to be collaborative places to have group conversations, share files and assign tasks. Often times we send emails with directives or files and then utilize the clunky use of reply or the accidental reply all. You can create different spaces with users, and instead of filling your inbox have chats and files and tasks to keep up with all the pressing needs or assignments.
