Principal's Corner

Dear Amy Belle Families,

We had many ups and downs with our weather this month including two snow days! We are thankful to our families for their patience and understanding when navigating winter weather. I am looking forward to sunny days and warmer temperatures ahead!

This month is very busy as we approach spring break. Parent teacher conferences are on March 8th and 9th. Please use Skyward to sign up for a time to come in and see all of the progress your child has been making so far this year. It is important for students to be able to share their learning with you! Reminder- we have NO school March 9th and 10th for conferences and teacher in-service.

Our character focus for this month is cooperation. Students work in cooperative groups and partnerships throughout their day. We are excited to focus on cooperation skills and will work with our buddy classrooms to do a cooperative activity this month.

Tomorrow evening will be the re-scheduled Dinner with the Arts that is put on by our Amy Belle PTA. We hope to see you there to be able to stroll the halls looking at the student art pieces and seeing our students showcase their talent in the variety show! The classroom raffle baskets look amazing, so definitely check them out! Remember, if you are not coming for the spaghetti dinner, you can still stop by at any time to enjoy the evening's activities.

PTA Dinner with the Arts (DWA)

An art showcase and variety show by the students of Amy Belle Elementary has been rescheduled for this Thursday, March 2rd. Please note this is a free, open house event for the entire Amy Belle School community. All purchases are optional and not required for attendance. Doors open at 5PM. Amazing baskets and other individual items raffled off - tickets available that event. A spaghetti dinner will be catered by Marko's Pizza - tickets purchased in advance.

DI Team to Regionals

Amy Belle has a DI team competing at the Southern Regional Tournament

Saturday March 18th at Kennedy Middle School.

All are invited to watch and support the team.
