Doors Open: 7:30am

Class Hours: 8:00am - 3:15pm

YMCA Afterschool Program: 3:15pm - 5:15pm

- Students will be sent to office at 3:30pm.

- You will need to come in to the office to sign student out.

- If student is in the office after 3:30pm and we are not able to contact parents or emergency contact, police will be called to give student a ride home.

- If your student is out for an appointment for doctor, dentist, etc., please bring doctor note to excuse the absence.

- If students are out of class more than 1 hour and 40 minutes, they will be counted as a 1/2 day absence.

¨ If you have questions regarding the professional qualifications of your child’s teacher or paraprofessional, please contact the school principal to gain more information on teacher qualifications and observed teaching performance.

Hi! I am Mrs. Stone. I give lessons weekly in each classroom on character, self-regulation, and the state standards for my area. I may work briefly with a student who is focusing on a social skill. Sometimes a student will ask to see me or a teacher will ask me to find out more about something going on. I also have parents who call and ask. In the school setting we do not do therapy as our goal is to be there teaching social skills to all students. If there is need of more, we will refer out to any of our many counseling resources in town.

If a student is without food on the weekend or fixing their own, we have a program to help out. We also have one to help with coats if someone can’t afford them. Occasionally we help find resources for basic needs. I also try to greet the kids; and so as we follow building policy, I may ask you to say good-bye at the door. Remember I will do this with a smile just following what I have been asked to do. I hope you do so also.
