School Arrival Time
Kindergarten Registration
If you have a student who will be five years old by Sept. 1, 2022 - it's time to get them registered!
Families are encouraged to enroll their students ahead of time as registration is open online now, and enrollment helps us identify classes and resources needed heading into the next school year.
If you need help determining which school your child should attend, use the Clackamas County Address Checker.
Free Dental Screenings
The Dental Foundation of Oregon’s mobile dental van, the Tooth Taxi, is coming. They will be parked at Eccles Elementary on May 9th-13th treating children.
The Tooth Taxi is staffed by dental professionals and offers a range of dental services including exams, cleanings, sealants, fillings and simple extractions for FREE.
Treatment priority will be given to those who have no dental insurance, are experiencing pain, have never been seen by a dentist, have OHP but are not being seen regularly by a dentist and those who may not be able to afford their copay.
The health and safety of patients and staff is always their highest priority. Our Mobile Program is following the most recent infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and The Oregon Health Authority (OHA). We’re closely following the activities of these agencies to stay current with any new protocols and best practice guidance that may be issued.
**Registration in advance is needed even though services are free, and a patient consent and health history form must be completed for your child to receive services. Parent/Guardian interest forms are coming home with your students this week. Please fill out the form sent home (picture below) OR complete the online form via button below, and return no later than 4/20/22.
Free Vision Screenings
Free vision screenings are coming up! Canby School District works with the Oregon Lions Club to provide these screenings each year at all of our elementary schools for grades K-6 and Ninety-One School for grades K-8. It is painless and is done from a distance, not touching the child’s eyes or face. Most children pass the exam, and those results are not sent home, except by request. For children whose no-passing results warrant follow-up with a specialist or health-care provider, results will be sent home to the parent or guardian.
This year’s screening will take place at Eccles on April 27th at 10:15 am. To opt out of the screening, please contact the school office.
For questions or information on financial assistance for a child’s vision issues, please contact the district nurses.
