August 13: PreK and Kindergarten Playdate - 9am-10am, Bertram Playground

August 15: Meet the Teacher - 4pm to 5:30pm - Come and Go Event

August 17: First Day of School

Please be sure to complete registration by Tuesday, August 9th in order to receive a call from your teacher inviting you to Open House. Teacher assignments will not be made during Open House.

Students must complete registration by Friday, August 12th to start school on Monday, August 15th. To receive bus service on the 1st day of school, students must have a completed registration by Friday, August 12th. Students registering after August 12th will be routed to a bus on Monday, August 22nd.

Completed registration includes submitting Residency Verification. The following are acceptable documents to serve as residency verification:

1. Current utility bill showing name, current address, and date

2. Rental agreement or lease (if applicable)

3. If the student is living with a parent in another person's residence and therefore cannot provide proof of residency in the parent's name, the parent and owner of the residence will need to complete a Residency Affidavit Form available at the Burnet CISD Central Office (208 E. Brier Street). Both parties will need to provide a form of identification and the owner of the residence must provide proof of residency document mentioned above.

Please save your Car Rider Pro tags. They will work next year as well. In the Fall, we will help to update your account to reflect the students you have enrolled including adding new PreK or Kindergarteners or removing students who have moved to middle school.

Car Rider Pro Tags will be available at Open House for new families. Replacement tags will also be available at that time.

During the summer, Bertram Elementary will be open during the hours and dates below. We are currently located at Quest High School in Burnet but will be back on campus at Bertram on Monday, August 1st.

• 2:30pm All Early Checkouts must be complete - Remember to bring your picture ID to complete early check out
• 3:20pm Student Dismissal
