Principal's Message
Dear Twain Families,
We are proud of all of our River Rafters who show Outstanding Attitudes, are Respectful, and Safe (OARS) daily. I want to send a special congratulations to Sra. Hallsted and Sra. As a reminder, school will be closed next Monday, January 16th, in remembrance of Martin Luther King Day. Upcoming events include Winter Palooza, Spirit Week, Loved Ones Day, and more. Take a look at the calendar of events below and please plan on attending.

Attendance Matters!
We are excited to begin a new year with new possibilities for success. Attendance is a vital component of your child’s success in school. 80% of student success in school begins with showing up and there is strong evidence that school attendance makes a difference. We encourage students to arrive when our gates open for breakfast at 8 :00 A.M. to ensure they are on time, have breakfast, and are able to play before the bell rings at 8:30 A.M.
If your student(s) cannot attend school, please notify the front office via phone at (310) 675-9134 between 07:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or by completing the Student Absence Form.
