The minute school ends we quickly transition to thinking about next school year. Our custodial crew is hard at work ensuring that our building will be clean and ready. We know that calendars fill up fast, so please be sure to read over our Welcome Back Night information above. If you are unable to make it that night, please call the office to set up a different day and time. Picture retakes will be on Tuesday, October 12th in the morning.
In the meantime, please enjoy these warm summer days!
Sincerely,

MNS Elementary Student Summit
The District is excited to share a pilot opportunity as students transition into the 2021-2022 school year. On August 23rd, we will be hosting a pilot of our first “MNS Elementary Student Summit.”
The purpose of the event is to support the transition into a new school year by learning information about a student and for a student to begin building a relationship with their teacher while meeting together.

Champions Before & After Care at Mill Valley
Are you craving some community and normalcy once school is back in session? Champions can help, and fall enrollment is now open!
We’re proud to be back at Mill Valley Elementary with before and after school programs where kids do what they do best—be kids! We can’t wait to hear the students laughing when friends reunite. But our programs offer so much more.
Your child will have dedicated homework time, get one-on-one help from our teachers, extra time to play with friends, and practice skills that get them back into the swing of learning in a new school year. It’s the dose of normalcy we all need, especially for parents returning to work routines.
Give your child a creative space to explore what they love, be original, and try, try again. Don’t wait to save your spot—we fill up fast! You can go to www.discoverchampions.com for more information on what Champions has to offer.
We’ll be here cheering them on!
Best wishes,
Laurel Tabat- Site Director
