SES Little Free Library for Parents
What is a Little Free Library?
A Little Free Library is similar to a miniature house or storage unit with shelving for books. The SES Little Free Library is currently in the planning stages, but it will offer a one-stop-shop for parents to foster literacy at home. Checkout is not required! Take what you need or donate books you no longer want. In the upcoming weeks, a local Eagle Scout candidate will begin working with us on the design and placement of our library. Stay tuned for details on the progress of this reading focused initiative for SES parents and students!

Attendance Reminder: Everyday Matters, Every Moment Counts
Every Day Matters, Every Moment Counts has become an important theme for ACPS this year. Across the country, student attendance at school is a serious concern. Research clearly shows that the more often a child is absent from school, the greater the possibility that his or her grades will decline, relationships with teachers and classmates will suffer and a child will have less enthusiasm for education. We know that there are always extenuating family circumstances and illness; having two-way dialogue will allow us to support you. We want this to be the best year your child has ever had in school and we want to work closely with you to ensure they are excited, eager and joyful in being part of our community.
Lost and Found
Take a look and let us know if you see your child's jacket. If you put names in their items we can help return them. We will also have items out during Bingo on Friday.
