JANUARY 7, 2022 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

BOYS HOLIDAY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

We enjoyed watching some good basketball over the break at the Holiday Tournament. Congratulations to St. Louis Priory who won the champtionship. Affton played hard and looked great, but came up just short. They look great for the upcoming season. If you get a chance, check out this boys team!

GIRLS SWIM - NANCY BRANDT SWIM INVITATIONAL

Coach Bohn is very pleased with the Girls Swim Team. "We had a fantastic night at the Nancy Brandt Invitational Finals! They came home with 12 medals and a new school record!"

200 Medley Relay placed 7th - Paige Stephens, Evelyn Berger, Lejla Ademovic, & Michelle Nguyen

200 Free Relay placed 6th and dropped 14 seconds from their prelim time

400 Free Relay placed 7th and dropped 24 seconds from their prelim time

Last but certainly not least

Morgan Verkuilen broke the school record in the 100 backstroke with a new time of 1:15.42. She also placed 12th after qualifying 15th. Coach Bohn said "We are so proud of Morgan!!"

SPRING SPORT INFORMATION

Spring sports start February 28. There will be a date (to be announced soon) where all athletes may pick up their Blue Card. ALL Athletes (including fall/winter athletes) will need a Blue Card to try out for a spring sport. All fines/dues will need to be paid before a blue card will be issued. Stay tuned to future newsletters when a date will be announced. For specific sport related questions, please email the coach for more information.

ATHLETIC FEES

For those participating in a fall, winter, or spring sport, there will be a $25 athletic fee added on their Tyler account. This will need to be paid through the parents' Tyler account. Students will not be allowed to participate in future sports until this fee is paid. Students that do not have all fines paid in full by graduation, will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
