Hobart High School’s Brickie Leaders, an organization that promotes leadership, empathy, accountability, and open discussion, conducted a candy fundraiser to raise money for Blankets of Love ministry again this year. Denise Stewart created the Blankets for Love ministry in order to provide warm, soft blankets to cancer patients in the region who are going through chemotherapy. When she contacted us and asked if there was way to help build her inventory, we knew that we could do something to help her. At Hobart High School, our organization is committed to spreading kindness throughout the year and helping different organizations do so as well. Brickie Leaders wished to give a HUGE Thank you to Albanese Candy for their generosity; they DONATED gummy bears and worms this year. And we were able to raise $291.
