Twin Oaks Elementary - UPDATED 1/9/23
Happy Anniversary to the Millers!
Twin Oaks Families:
Happy Anniversary to me and my husband, Pat! It's been a long, satisfying, 41- year journey, one that brings me great joy to CELEBRATE!
What's happening this week at School:
This week I will be continuing to teach lessons from our new Sources of Strength curriculum. In Unit 1 Connections and Community, K-2 students are on Lesson 1.2 titled "Aha's." The lesson focuses on two aspects of belonging: noticing the people, places and things that help us feel like we belong; and, how we can use our actions and voice to help create belonging for others. The lesson concludes with a classroom celebration, using "Aha's." 3rd-5th graders are working in Unit 1 Introduction to Sources of Strength on Lesson 1.1 titled "Discovering and Identifying our Strength." The lesson is about how recognizing and discovering strengths in our lives can help us be connected, happy, healthy and strong.
