Relay For Life University
Week 7 | Supporting Communities
Secret to Success is in the Support
Just like Relay For Life looks different in every community, the support needs of every community and even every volunteer are different. This week we will look at different types of Relay For Life events and see what makes them work for the different audiences. Also, we will look at different volunteer support tools including RelayForLife.org, Relay Nation, and the Volunteer Learning Center.
What you will focus on for Week 7...
Supporting our Volunteers
Volunteer Learning Center
The Volunteer Learning Center is the Society Pathways for volunteers. Through this learning management system, volunteers can access e-learning, register for in person or live training opportunities and manage their volunteer profile. You can also request reports to see which of your volunteers have completed trainings you suggest.
RelayForLife.org
RelayForLife.org is the hub and brand homepage for Relay For Life. Through RelayForLife.org, people can register for events, find their local event, and learn more about our brand and what our funds do for their community and the fight against cancer.
Relay Nation
Relay Nation is the online social community arm of RelayForLife.org. Volunteers can use this site to connect with other Relayers around the world, post questions and discussions on our message board, and access resources to help them grow Relay For Life in their community.
Interview Your Peers: Volunteer Support
