You're invited to join the TCE Parent Independent Book Study this summer! TCE is excited to offer our first-ever independent parent book Study. The book, Teach Your Children Well: Why Values and Coping Skills Matter More Than Grades, Trophies, and Fat Envelopes, will be provided for you at no cost and will be yours to keep.

We had great success this past spring using this specific book for a parent book study, so we wanted to provide an opportunity for others to benefit from this book. So, if you weren't able to join us this past spring, this is the perfect opportunity for you! You can read the book at your own pace, and we have created a Schoology Course to accompany the independent study that contains additional articles, videos, and reflection activities. Upon registration, you will receive an email with the details on how to register for the course and utilize the resources. You will also receive instructions on how and where to pick up your book.

It's time to order school supplies for next year! Visit our PTO online store at www.tcepto.com. School supply packs & t-shirts that are purchased online will be delivered to your child's classroom in time for the first day of school. We recommend you purchase a "TCE Trailpass" that covers the cost of your child's school supplies, the classroom fund donation that supports class parties and events, a grade-level t-shirt for your child, PTO membership, and your Write-a-Check school donation.

**Items can also be purchased separately.

Our learners that have enrolled to return to CISD in the fall will be able to keep their school iPads over the summer. Please be aware that Town Center staff do not monitor the learners' usage during the summer months, so please make sure to set guidelines for your child and monitor their usage. We recommend using them only for school digital resources that they will still have access to over the summer. Ex. iStation, Dreambox, Imagine Learning.

If you have not re-enrolled for Coppell ISD for the fall, we will collect your child's iPad and charger on the last day of school for face-to-face learners. Our virtual learners that are not returning will need to call the school to schedule a return by the end of next week. Please reach out to Laura Fairchild with any questions.

As a reminder, there is a feature in Mosyle, CISD’s mobile device management provider, that allows parents to manage their child’s iPad via the MosyleScreenGuide App. Those currently using the feature or wanting to use the feature need to review the updated setup instructions for ScreenGuide at go.coppellisd.com/screenguide. Through this app, you can do things like configure screen time limits, remotely lock the iPad, lock the iPad into an app and hide certain apps.

We are in the process of distributing our 2020-2021 TCE Yearbooks. A limited number of extra yearbooks are available for purchase for $25. Please call Laura Fairchild at 214-496-7804 for more information.
