- New Kindergarteners- If you have a child of kindergarten age, please call the office to schedule a round-up appointment on August 2 or August 3. Thank you!
- Pit Spitter's Reading Club: Forms are due on Wednesday, May 10. Any forms turned in after the 10th will be sent back home with instructions on where to mail them.
- Cornhole Raffle: The PTO is selling raffle tickets for custom-made Ranger Cornhole Boards (see picture below). The tickets will be sold for the next two weeks, and the raffle drawing will take place Thursday night, May 11, at our Family Math Night!
- M-STEP: Our 4th grade students will continue their M-STEP assessment next week! They will participate in the math assessment. Let's ensure students are getting enough sleep and a complete breakfast. Thanks!
- Kindergarten Open House/Roundup: Our annual Kindergarten Open House will be on Wednesday, May 17, at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be for all incoming kindergarteners and families (see separate flyer for more details).
- PTO Carnival Volunteers: We are in need of some parent/guardian volunteers for our end-of-the-year carnival on Thursday, May 25. Volunteers will help at the bounce houses and other supervision work. If you're interested, you can contact the elementary office or email Mr. Katona at jpkatona@mantonschools.org. Thanks!
- PTO: The PTO (parent-teacher organization) is looking for new parent recruits who want to be a part of a great group to enhance the school experience for all students! Please get in touch with Mr. Katona if you're interested in joining! Our next meeting will be next school year!
- Drop-off Lane: Parents/Guardians! Please don't leave your vehicle in the drop-off lane; pull forward to allow other vehicles to enter. This WILL help the flow of traffic.
- Warmer Weather: Please watch the weather to prepare your child with the appropriate clothing for outside recess. Thank you!
- Water Bottles: Please remember to have your child bring a water bottle to school. Especially on warmer days. Thank you!
- WIN Room Clothes: We are looking for clothes donations (pants, shirts, etc.) for our WIN room. You can drop them off in the elementary office. Thank you.
- Popcorn Fridays: Parent/Guardians, popcorn Fridays are back! Students will get a bag of popcorn one Friday of the month (usually the last Friday). We are asking students to bring in $.25 per month to help offset the cost of the popcorn. This is not mandatory, and we thank you for your help! *Our next Popcorn Friday will be on May 26!
