Free Healthcare?
Summer is in full swing, and as I ponder freedom and have fun this holiday weekend, I look forward to a bright future and freedom in finances, time, health, and ability to give generously because I have a rewarding and successful career with the most generous company in the world. I love that dōTERRA's owners are committed to helping us all become "free to give!" Perhaps you'd love to join me in this amazing calling and mission to bring safe, effective alternatives for natural health to the world around us, or maybe you can think of some friends and family who would benefit from essential oils as you have. Either way, dōTERRA generously rewards those who share with others. I can help you replace or supplement your income or even just make enough to cover the cost of all the great dōTERRA products you could ever hope to purchase. (That's what I call "free healthcare!") Now that we're settled into our house, I'm looking for a few new people to mentor to success and would be happy to chat with you about whether this might be the opportunity for you or someone you know.
Keep scrolling to see this month's specials and a few fantastic seasonal recipes. It's my pleasure to bring usage ideas and savings to your inbox; I hope you enjoy!
Happy ōiling,
Crystal
P.S. I don't know which week yet, but keep an eye out for BOGOs this month! They only come around a couple of times a year, and it's always fun to see which free oils and products dōTERRA is giving away. BOGOs also provide a way for you to stock up or try a new-to-you oil. (Even more free healthcare!)

Bigger isn't always better
A research article recently published in the Journal of Food Science confirms the old adage, “Bigger isn’t always better.” Many studies have noted that the effects of essential oils may be increased in certain applications by increasing the ease with which essential oils mix with water.
In this study, researchers created limonene oil nanoparticles that were stable in water for over three months. To get an idea of how impressive this is, think of how a vinaigrette separates into oil and water within minutes to hours. Now imagine your vinaigrette not separating for over three months—it’s certainly unlikely. By heating a medium chain fatty acid, adding limonene, mixing at high speed and cooling to solidify the microscopic droplets, the emulsion was made to be incredibly stable. While this may seem like an inordinate amount of work to mix essential oils with water, this study found that limonene in nanoparticle form had a greater effect as a food preservative at lower concentrations than limonene added directly to a solution. While further research is warranted, especially for the sake of safety, this study adds to the exciting idea of nano-emulsions to optimize the delivery and efficacy of essential oils.
