With 3rd Quarter nearly behind us, it's amazing how much we still have ahead! Read on to find out what's coming up and to see some pics from our Spirit Week Carnival!

Next week is FINALS for 3rd Quarter. Please be sure your child gets plenty of rest and arrives at school by 7:50 am each morning so they can be ready to begin their finals at 8 o'clock.

• Monday: Regular Schedule - 8:00am-2:34pm
• Tuesday: Half Day - 8:00am-11:00am (Finals for periods 1 & 4)
• Wednesday: Wednesday Schedule - 8:00am-2:00pm
• Thursday: Half Day - 8:00am-11:00am (Finals for periods 2 & 5)
• Friday: Half Day - 8:00am-11:00am (Finals for periods 3 & 6)

It's that time of year again... Standardized testing for all grade levels (except Seniors). Just like with Final's Week, be sure your child gets plenty of rest and arrives at school by 7:50 am each morning so they can be ready to begin testing promptly at 8 o'clock.

Although the events of the days will change, school hours will remain the same.

As a community contributing school, we want our students to take pride in their campus and in our city. So, on March 24th, after SATs, we will get some gloves, trash bags, and grabbers, and clean up our community! The younger students will remain on and around campus while the older students will head out to Roosevelt Avenue to clean up our "Adopt-A-Highway" stretch of road.

Are you a golfer? Do you know golfers? Would you like to spend an afternoon on the greens of Hawaii Prince Golf Course? Get a team together and join us for our annual golf tournament coming up on April 3rd.

Don't golf, but want to help? We are looking for sponsorships and prizes for the event. Please let us know if you’d like to make a donation.

If you have a business that you would like to advertise at our event, this is the perfect opportunity! We need sponsors throughout our event, including closest-to-the-pin, and longest drive. Your business' name and logo will be posted on the course and our website, with special thanks to all our sponsors during our luncheon.

Proceeds from this tournament go towards the John Shirota Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to selected applicants grades 8-11 enrolled in Lanakila Baptist for the upcoming school year.

Each year, ILH schools must declare their intent to participate in sports before the school year begins. The 2020-2021 school year declarations are due by April. If your child is interested in playing a sport next year, we need a commitment. Over the years, our school has had the opportunity to participate in ILH basketball, volleyball, cross-country, track, and bowling under our own school name, however, if we are unable to declare enough student participation, that may not be the case. Please talk with your child to see if they want to be a part of any of our sports teams and let Mrs. Powell, (sandra.powell@lbswarriors.org) know as soon as possible.
