Hello TIMA families!

So here we are, one-month in, pushing through the dog days of summer and SHOWING UP! We’ve had our first Parent Plug-in and what a turn out! We appreciate all the parents and family members who were able to attend and for those who want to see what all the talk is about, please come out and join us on September 7th at 8:30am for a little coffee and conversation; the topic Volunteerism in schools. We know mornings can be tough, so if you can’t make it, videos of these plug-ins will be posted on TIMA’s Facebook page. Those who were able to make it out this past Friday to the Beach Social, THANK YOU! The weather was wonderful, the water was warm and the conversation and community were even better. We received such positive feedback; we may need to make impromptu beach days a more regular event. There are more opportunities in the coming months to plug-in and stay connected. We have our first fundraiser at Front Porch Improv on September 16th from 5:30pm-7pm. Before the night is complete, we will be graced by our very own TIMA Improv Club, the skills and talents of our students are unending. I’m confident the evening will serve up plenty of good laughs, so grab those seats before they’re gone and you’re left wishing you were hanging with all your “new” and ‘old” TIMA besties. I would like to give a little shout out to all the parents who have already signed up for lunchroom duty, some of you have beat me to the punch, I’m impressed and very appreciative. Kenlea and I are always looking for a little lunchroom duty conversation and humor. Mrs. Fleming has been known to capture a volunteer in their best cleaning pose and praise their selflessness by posting it to Instagram, so you’ve been warned, bring your yellow kitchen gloves and get your wipe down on. There’s a constant theme at TIMA…parents and family members love their school and it shows. We have a great time when we’re together, so let’s do it again and again and again.

Our goal is to provide teachers with one duty-free lunch a week. A TIMA employee will be in the cafeteria to support the volunteers. Please use the button below to review available slots and sign up!

We love seeing volunteers on campus! Volunteers must first be cleared through the VISTA background check process. Please complete the simple registration and application process . The system also enables us to track volunteer hours. Tracking volunteers is important to TIMA's grant initiatives. Please help us by ensuring you are tracking your volunteer hours

TIMA offers athletics for students in grades 6,7 & 8. All students wishing to participate in evaluations, practices and games MUST have a current physical on file with Athletic Director, Noel Ingram. Students must also meet the athletic eligibility requirements to participate. Physical packets and eligibility guidelines can be found in the folder linked below.
