Last Week of School for 2020-2021
MEMORIES TAKE US BACK, DREAMS TAKE US FORWARD
When We Work Together We Can Accomplish Great THINGS
Parents/guardians and community members, thank you for entrusting the North Little Rock Middle School 7th-8th-grade teachers and staff with your wonderful children. Though the 2020-2021 school year brought on a new set of challenges due to COVID 19, we didn't let the challenges defeat our purpose of educating, building relationships, and supporting our students. "When we all work together we can accomplish great things," and we did just that!
Congratulations to our 8th-grade students as they head to NLRHS as the graduating class of 2025.
As this school year ends it’s our hope at NLRMS 7/8 campus to building on our student, parent/guardian, and community relationships in the upcoming school year. Enjoy your summer making memories with those around you!
You are LOVED,
NLRMS7/8 Staff"ALONE, WE CAN DO SO LITTLE; TOGETHER WE CAN DO SO MUCH"- Helen Keller
On behalf of North Little Rock Middle School 7th-8th grade staff, students, parents, and guardians, I would like to say, "THANK YOU" to the entire congregation at Park Hill Baptist Church for their continued support, gifts, and generous donations to the North Little Rock Middle School 7th-8th grade campus and Jasmine's Closet. It's been an honor and blessing to be able to work with Mrs. Marty Davis, Missions Coordinator for Park Hill Baptist Church. North Little Rock Middle Schools continued success in helping to remove obstacles our students and families face wouldn't be possible without the ongoing love and support Mrs. Davis and Dr. Shaddox have for our NLR community.
Sincerely,
Brandy Amberg

Mrs. Marty Davis

Food Donations from Community members
A special thanks to those parents and community members that have donated to the NLRMS 7/8 food cabinet. The food cabinet is an extension of Jasmine's Closet that was established in memory of Jasmine Sheppard a former NLRSD student to help remove obstacles that could hinder a student's most basic need to succeed.
NLRMS 7th and 8th-grade Student Council/ Special Olympics of Arkansas
NLRMS 7th and 8th-grade students stepped up to challenge to raise $500.00 for the Special Olympics of Arkansas. Students donated their loose change for two weeks to make sure they would have the opportunity to tape Mr. Cain our Principal and Student Council member Desmond Higgins to the wall. Not only did the students reach their goal, but they also exceeded their goal by $100.00 totaling $600.00 raised that will go directly back to the Special Olympics of Arkansas to help provide support to other children.
