CTE Families,
We are so excited to have students back after winter break. It has been a joy to listen to all of their stories about their break. As we continue back this semester to school, it is important for you all to know that we are in the final stages of finishing construction. We will be sending out a parent questionnaire to gain feedback on the procedures for the parking lot for drop off and pick up at the primary school so we can be better prepared for when we are all in one school. Please be on the lookout for that. Your feedback is welcome and greatly appreciated. Also, I will continue to update you when we are ready to start moving forward with students and staff being at one school. It is possible that we have all students together this May! I will keep you posted. Thank you for your continued support and flexibility!

We are looking for kindergarten students for the 2023-2024 school year. If you have a child or know of a child who will turn 5 before September 1, 2023, please contact Jennifer at CTP 536-2728, for information on kindergarten screening.
Early Childhood Role Models for 2023-24 school year
Circle Towanda is looking for peer models for our Early Childhood classroom!
What is a peer model? A peer model is a child who serves as a role model to the other students with special needs by demonstrating appropriate play, communication, and social skills.
Who can be a peer model? Children ages 3-5 are encouraged to apply. Your child must be 3.5 by Sept.1, and cannot be eligible for Kindergarten (turning 5 before Sept. 1).
What does the class cost? The only fee is CGE’s standard enrollment fee, which is $27.50 for the half-day program.
What is the process to become a peer model?
- Fill out an application (ask for one in the front office). Deadline is March 1, 2023.
- Attend a screening during March (details TBA).
- Eligible children will be randomly selected by a drawing for the 2023-24 school year and you will be notified by mail. Questions? Please contact Stefanie Sage, Early Childhood teacher at ssage@usd375.org or by calling the school office at 316-536-2728
PTO NEWS
PTO Meeting 1/9 @ 4:15 Intermediate Library
PTO’s Family Fun Night is coming April 14!!! Please be looking for information to start coming out about this!
Amazon Teacher Wish Lists: Want to help provide things for the classrooms but don’t know what teachers need? We have set up a wish list for each of our teachers to fill out as they have needs through Amazon. If you are interested, please see our PTO Facebook page.
BOXTOPS!! Since the Boxtop company has switched from clipping BoxTops to scanning your receipt through their app, we have seen a drastic decrease in participation. PLEASE consider downloading the APP and taking the time to scan your receipt when you shop! It’s super simple and helps our schools a lot!
Thank you for all your support! It really does MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
