Hello Primary Pups!
Hello Wall Primary Family!
I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. It was great to have my own kids all under one roof again! Our Primary Pups had a great time at their Thanksgiving Feast! Thank you to our parents for sending in all of delicious dishes. Most students had a taste of everything, but the corn bread was the definitive favorite.
We embraced this month's mindset, Attitude of Gratitude. Our students listened to stories about being grateful and kind. They created lists of special people and things that they are thankful for. Our generous school community participated in the Students Change Hunger Challenge! Thank you to everyone who donated food to this food drive! Our little school donated 320 pounds of food to the fulfill food bank! Thank you Nurse Beth for organizing the drive and delivering all of the collected items!
We started this week learning all about the Elf on the Shelf! Our kids loved watching the movie, The Elf Story, which explained how and why Santa sends his elves to visit children before Christmas. Believe it or not, that very night, Santa sent 4 elves to Wall Primary School. Each classroom has its own elf and so far, they've been flying back to Santa each night and then return to get into mischief before morning.
As we enter December, we continue with our new theme, "All About Traditions." Our students will learn about different holiday traditions. They will get to "make" and taste many different treats including Hanukkah Latkes and Rice Krispie Christmas Trees. Students will get to shop for gifts at our PTA Holiday Shop and if all goes well, the BIG MAN himself will be making an appearance shortly before we leave for break. Be sure to check out the monthly calendar so you can stay on top of the many exciting events we have planned for this month.
The next few weeks during "the most wonderful time of the year," will probably be super busy for you! Please remember to take care of yourself as you are caring for and preparing to make the holidays magical for your children.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Embon

Thank you to our new President, Mr. Jon Rainho! Jon, originally this year's VP, accepted his new role with grace and enthusiasm! Thank you also to Mrs. Ashely Pires, who has stepped into the open position of Vice President! Best of luck Amy and Jon.
