Theatre Update!
Texas Thespian Festival 2019 was a huge success for WHS Theatre! Besides having a group of 29 of the best behaved 9th-12th graders at the convention, we are proud to announce that we have two Individual Events that qualified to compete at Nationals, consisting of SEVEN kids! Congratulations to Audrey, Mia, Madi, Clara, Chloe, and Hannah for qualifying with their performance of the song “Ex-Wives” from the musical Six as well as Dandee for her performance of the song “Dead Mom” from Beetlejuice the Musical. We’re also so proud of the other ten kids who worked incredibly hard to prepare our other five IEs. This afternoon, our cast and house crew of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind performed for a SOLD OUT house of 474 thespians. Our show was so popular that they had to bring in extra crowd control and turn HUNDREDS of people away at the door!

Blood Drive Results
Hello All!
WOW!!! We broke all the records, thanks to you, and your students, we were able to obtain 89 donations total . This means we were able to potentially save 267 lives in the DFW area. Did you know that 20% of the blood that is used in our area comes from big high school drives? We totally blew through our goals! Just in the nick of time, because they are at a critical low at the moment. What an impact we made this holiday, there is no greater gift!
Thanks Again!
