Teacher Appreciation Month

Please join us in celebrating some of the hardest working, most caring teachers around. Each day in May we will celebrate a Buchanan High School Teacher and honor their dedication to their students and school community. I couldn't ask to be a part of a more cohesive, loving, comical bunch of teachers and I am so proud to be a part of this BUCK FAMILY!

Mrs.elliott im glad to have you as a english teacher i learned so much from you hope you and your family is doing good.

mrs. elliott. her class was amazing, I really loved the layout of her room and to get her for another school year was great. I loved having her for my sixth hour since most of the class was full of my friends, I loved how she taught things and made things easy for us to understand.

Mrs. Elliott really like to have fun with her student and enjoys literature and teaching us about it. When she reads to us she gives a performance and brings out the emotion and the tone which helps to understand the story better.

Mrs.Elliott shes a awesome english teacher. She makes class fun and you know you can ask for help or even talk to her about anything and have a good talk with her.

My favorite thing about Mrs.Elliot is that she is always involved

Mrs. Elliott has been such a big help for me throughout high school. She has been my advisor for student council and The Herd all four years and my teacher as a freshman. She does anything she can to help me in school and out and has been a great help in my college search. She helped make high school so memorable and I appreciate everything she does for us.

Mrs. Elliot is a very fun and loving teacher. You can tell she cares about her students and Buck pride. She has lots of spirit and makes games and events fun.

Jelliott was my Freshman English teacher, but we did not part ways after that. One way to tell that a teacher loves what they do is through how much time they put in after 6th hour. Mrs. Elliott definitely does that, when I think about how much she does for student council and the Herd, I think: “How does she do it?” I still don’t know the answer to that, but I do know that I am so happy I got to spend four years around someone as creative and multi-talented as Mrs. Elliott.

My first hour teacher is Mrs. Elliott. She knows how to be topical towards students, and she engages people in conversation that don't normally get conversation. She also creates assignments that students enjoy doing.

Dear Mrs. Elliot, Sup Dog? As an English major I can say that you have done an above satisfactory job this year. I'll have you know English is my favorite subject, but the subject is only as good as the teacher. Thank you.
