CHIPS Weekly Update

During the winter months, our car line for drop off and pick up tends to be longer and the parking lot can be quite congested at arrival and dismissal. To help keep arrival and dismissal safe, please observe the following:

• Please put your car in park when dropping off/picking up your child
• Be sure to double check before pulling out of a parking spot or the car line
• If parent parking spots are full, please use another empty spot. It may be necessary to circle around the parking lot to do this. Please do not wait in your car next to the car line for a spot to open up.
• Do not pass busses when their lights are flashing
• Please be sure your child is securely buckled in before driving off

• February 10- CHIPS pre-registration for new students begins
• February 16- Last day of PTO Sock Drive
• February 19-23 NO SCHOOL- February Vacation
• March 5- NO SCHOOL- Professional Development

Even though the weather has been mild, there is still lots of winter left. Please see the link below from our speech, occupational, and physical therapists for some great ideas on how to spend a snowy day!

Please remember to inform friends and families if your child or loved one has any food allergies. CHIPS staff ask that you refrain from sending in any candy and celebrate this joyous day in other fun, safe ways. Below is a helpful link regarding allergy safety. Enjoy!

Please use our absence line (978-251-5188 Option 0) to report your child's absence from school and be sure to state the reason for the absence (illness, appointment, travel, etc). If your child is out due to illness, please let us know the nature of the illness (fever, vomiting, cough, etc.).

Nurse Kristen can be reached by calling the CHIPS main number (978-251-5188) and selecting option 3.

Our annual sock drive is now underway! We are collecting new socks of all sizes to donate to The Wish Project unil February 16.
