We continue to collect data to help us support students in meeting our school behavior expectations. If your child needs additional supports we will be reaching out and communicating next steps. We appreciate your support in helping Second Street be the best place for students to learn and grow.

It’s FallFestival Week!

Saturday, Sept. 16, 4 - 6 p.m. at Second Street School

We hope that everyone is excited about the Fall Festival! We have had so much fun planning this event which includes grade-level games, a haunted hallway, cupcake shuffle, dunk tank (dunkees will be announced this week), and more!

Students recently had the opportunity to make special requests for the festival, and food was at the top of the list. The PTSA listened and will have popcorn, cotton candy, apple cider, chili, and hotdogs at the event! These items will be provided at no cost to SSS families.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday! Please note the time change for the festival - it’s now scheduled from 4-6 p.m.

The PTSA would like to give a big SHOUT OUT to all the staff members who decorated classroom doors! We are so impressed by the level of creativity and participation! There are 35 doors total included in this contest.

Online voting will begin this week. A sharable link to the voting site will be available on the PTSA Facebook page and sent by email to our subscribers soon.

The winner will receive an ice cream party for a class of choice and also a gift certificate.

Drop Off

• If you do not see a bus in the right lane, please use it to double the space in the tunnel!
• Adults do not need to get out of the car.
• Do not let your child out of the car if you are in the tunnel before 7:40am
• Once you exit the tunnel and come to a complete stop, please have your child exit the car. - Do not wait for someone to open your child's door.
• At 7:40am please drop your child off in the tunnel by the front office.
• If you drop off at 7:45 or after, you must park and come inside to sign your child in for the day.

Pick Up

• If your child needs assistance getting buckled, please pull around to a parking spot and secure your child. - Do not exit your vehicle in the car rider line.
