STEAM Night: Tuesday, April 9 6:00-7:30 p.m.
21st Century Scholar Night
Students who are accepted in the 21st Century Scholar program will be awarded money to pay their college tuition. IT'S FREE MONEY!
Students can not apply once they are in high school, so please take advantage of this opportunity to apply! (All 8th graders must be signed up by June 30)
ALL FAMILIES ARE WELCOME TO ANY OPEN HOUSE NIGHT

April 11th 5:30 - 6:30 @ Raymond Park
Please Bring: student's social security number, parent's social security number, and yearly income of everyone in the household.
Families will apply online using school computers, and may attend at any location.
All Middle School Counselors will be there to help with any questions.

Warren Township School District has a new app and website!
The purpose of the app and website is to provide regular updates through the live feed, district news, and district events sections as well as other important district information. The app includes easy access to the weekly breakfast and lunch menu, staff contacts, district documents, bullying and safety reporting form, and much much more. The Warren app can be downloaded at the Apple and Android App Store. Stay informed and download the app today. The district website is www.warren.k12.in.us.

Digital Families Community Event
Warren Township Council of PTA’s cordially invites your families to attend our Digital Families Community Event on Monday, April 22nd at 6pm in the MSD Warren Township Administration Building, to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people. During this event, families will learn together about the importance of digital safety and online behavior through various workshops (Healthy Habits, Online Presence, Password Strategies, Privacy and You, Building Empathy, Family Tech Talk, and Ask a Student Center).
Each student will bring a flyer home and will need to RSVP by the morning of Friday, April 19.

Spring sports are up and running. See the link below for all sports action next week.
Physical Night is on April 18. Physicals dated on or after April 1, 2019, are good for the entire 2019-20 school year. Do not wait until the Fall. Also, any current 8th grader who plans on working out at the high school over the summer MUST have a new physical on file with the high school. See the attached flyer.

How important is attendance for student success?
We do understand that there are situations that arise where an absence can't be prevented. Please help communicate those reasons to the school by calling the main line at 532-6800 between 6:00-7:00 a.m. to report the absence.
Excused Absences Include:
1. Personal illness or injury (please drop off physician's notes to front desk)
2. Death in the immediate family
3. Attendance at a family funeral
4. Religious observances required by church officials
5. Serving as a page in the legislature
6. Court appearance/court detention
7. Working at polls
