We are going to have a "Career Fair Day" on Monday March 27th. We are encouraging all students K - 5 to dress as a person in the career that they would like to be when they grow up. Our 5th grade students are working hard this month researching careers and will be presenting a Career Fair in the afternoon on March 27th. Our K - 4th grade students will have the opportunity to walk through and learn about different careers from our 5th graders. 5th Grade families are invited to attend the Career Fair as well. We are looking forward to a fun day!

We were super excited to welcome Musicopia to East Fallowfield last week. Mrs. Mullen did the work to set up this opportunity for our 5th graders. Each 5th grade class will get one session with Musicopia to learn about African dance. Later, our whole school will have an assembly in April as a culminating celebration. Our 5th graders will have the option to perform the dances they have learned during the assembly.

Mrs. Barlow has been hard at work using our Open Court English Language Learning resources with her students. This allows students the opportunity to learn new vocabulary and have opportunities to practice skills before they are presented in their classroom. Last week, Mrs. Barlow worked with her second graders on calendar features and the students did a great job! Keep up the great work, Mrs. Barlow and friends!

Each Friday on the morning announcements, we have our Eagle Eye Ticket Drawing to celebrate good bus behavior. The prizes vary from week to week and this week's prize was a coupon for ice cream in the cafeteria. Congratulations to last week's winners. Keep SOARing!

Report cards will be available on Home Access on March 21, 2023. Please review the document below on how to access your child's report card. Please note, we will not be sending home paper copies of report cards. Thank you for your understanding.

This year at East Fallowfield we are revamping our PBIS program and focusing on our Big East Expectations of Safety, Ownership, Acceptance and Respect. Last week, students had the opportunity to learn what these expectations look like, sound like, and feel like in different areas around the school including the classroom, cafeteria, playground, bus, hallway, and bathrooms.

Students are so excited to be rewarded for meeting these expectations with Class Dojo points. Parents please be sure to accept the Class Dojo invite from your child's teacher so you can track the great work they are doing in class.
