Dear Families - Read on for the News
No School Next Week!
There is no school next week, November 20-24, for Thanksgiving Break.
Blood Drive
We need just 3 more volunteers to donate blood by the end of the year! We will earn $2000 from the Vitalant Community Scholarship and Grant Program with your help. Please sign up via this link and then donate at one of the local vitalent blood drives:
If you're willing, please send a picture of yourself donating to lauraheinse@gmail.com so we can celebrate! Thanks Lauren Crawford for setting these fundraisers up.
School Messenger
We have implemented School Messenger text messaging service. Please opt in by scanning the QR code on the flyer below or by sending "Y" or "YES" to 67587. This is a great way for the school to communicate important information to our families quickly. if you have recently changed your phone number, please contact the office to update it so you don't miss a thing!
Community Circle
Join us for Community Circle! Each month we focus on one of our design principles. November is Diversity and Inclusion. The 3rd Grade Crew will be sharing what they have been working on in class around this design principle. Community Circle is open to everyone on the following Fridays:
11/17 3rd grade - Diversity and Inclusion
12/8 2nd grade - Service and Compassion
1/12 1st grade - Solitude and Reflection
After School MS Sports Busing
Middle School students who participate in sports can ride bus 108 to MMS for practice. Please call or email the office the day before so we can get them a bus pass and make sure they get to the right place.
Drop-off and Pick-up Reminder
When picking-up or dropping-off your student, please remember to drive all the way down the pick-up lane to allow more cars to get through. Powers Avenue can get pretty congested and keeping the line moving will help alleviate that.
Weeding Wednesdays
Join the PPCS Landscape Committee for Weeding Wednesdays before and/or after school pickup (~2:30-3:30)! We’ll have gloves and tools or bring your favorites. We’ll be on the island in the middle of the parking lot- stop by any time and see what the Landscape Committee is up to!
