Hello Cougar Nation,

Welcome back! We hope you had a fantastic Spring Break and enjoyed the wonderful Texas weather. It's always good to hit the reset button.

Now that we're back and rested, we can jump into action rejuvenated and energized. We have a busy spring semester ahead, including state testing, prom, graduation, and many more activities and celebrations. It's a busy time of the year and one of the best.

We have fantastic news and plenty to celebrate with our Jarrell High School WinterGuard winning the Texas Color Guard Circuit Novice Class State Champions on March 12 in Davenport. Way to go, students and coaches! We are so proud of you. We also want to celebrate our Jarrell High School theater students who won the district title at the UIL one-act play. The students received first place marks from every single judge. Please join us in cheering them on as they compete in the bi-district meet on Tuesday in La Grange. We're so proud of all they accomplished. It's a testament to their hard work and the dedication of our teaching staff.

We have many more celebrations in the coming months. It's a great time to be a Cougar!

Jarrell ISD is located in northern Williamson County. The mascot is The Cougars. It has four campuses: Jarrell High School, Jarrell Middle School, Igo Elementary School and Jarrell Elementary. The district is home to more than 2,800 students. Enrollment is projected to double in the next 10 years.
