HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST WEEK
CONGRATULATIONS LVMS FORENSICS TEAM: This past weekend, the LVMS Forensics team competed at the Ridge Tournament this weekend. Olivia Heydorn placed 4th overall in Interpretation with Nicholas Amoroso and Lukas Cioccia placing in the semi-finals. Honorable mention to the rest of the team; Griffin Veletto, Stephanie Davila, Aliana Sudol, Madden Heydorn, Chloe DeSouza and Lily DeSouza.

Earlier this school year, we held a school wide contest for students to create a T-Shirt to best represent our We Are Panthers school motto. Students designs were reviewed by LVMS Staff Members and top designs for each house and grade level were voted on by all LVMS Students.

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) application is now available to students. Students interested in applying for NJHS should complete the application highlighting their Leadership Experience, Service Activities, Community Activities, and Work Experience. All applicants are reviewed by the Faculty Council to determine a students eligibility for membership. Applications are due to Mrs. Smith by Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 3:30 PM. Late or incomplete applications cannot be accepted.

Boys Basketball
The boys basketball team will play its first round County Tournament basketball game tonight, beginning at 7:00, at MacKinnon Middle School in Wharton. Good luck!
Girls Basketball
The Girls Basketball team ended their season last week losing in Overtime 38-41 to Brooklawn MS after tying the game in the 4th quarter with a buzzer beating 3 pointer! All the girls played great and had a amazing season ending their regular season with only 3 losses!
