Welcome Mr. Funkhouser!

We are happy to welcome Mr. Adam Funkhouser, our new User Support Specialist (USS). He has jumped right in and been essential in keeping our technology and Chromebooks running and updated.

3D Printed Cookie Cutters Make Great Cookies!

Mrs. Lungociu and Mrs. Holland wrapped up the 8th Grade Life Skills Society cookie project which culminated in the baking of sugar cookies. They turned out fabulously!

The "Ballenger Creek Middle School: Pass" System

The "Ballenger Creek Middle School: Pass" system allows students to sign up to use the Media Center for book checkout, independent work in the Media Center (with teacher permission), and lunch opportunities. The pass system link is in our Schoology Course.

*Availablilty of passes varies daily based on Mrs. Lungociu's schedule and use of the Media Center by other classes.

Book Checkout Overview

With the addition of the pass system weekly checkout by grade have been changed. Students can now utilize the passes to come and checkout books when they would like.

Books may be checked out for 3 weeks at a time.

Books can be renewed twice.
Books can be put on hold using our LS2Pac (students must be signed in with their FCPS account).
Books on hold will be delivered to the student's ELA teacher when they come in.
Books can be returned to the Media Center on checkout days or placed in the blue bins in the student's ELA classroom.
