Now that the soccer field has been seeded and we are waiting for the grass to grow, the section has been taped off and fencing has been taken down. We now have some more playground space available for students to play and have PE!

KECLA is holding the 2024 Korean American Day Art Contest to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Korean American history. Please encourage your child(ren) to participate in the art contest. Use the QR code in the flyer to apply!

Thank you to our wonderful MV community for donating to the GUSD a food Drive to help support families in need. As we head into the season of gratitude, we are so very thankful for your generosity in the spirit of giving.

PTA HOLIDAY SCRIP ORDER!

It's time for Monte Vista Scrip!! What is Scrip, you ask? It is basically the same as gift cards and gift certificates you would normally purchase and they work the same way. Monte Vista PTA benefits because we have purchased these gift cards/certificates at a discount and have offered them to you at face value. It is really easy!

With holidays upon us and many to purchase gifts for, Scrips may be the perfect gift!! You will receive a scrip order form in this week’s Thursday folder. Room Reps will also share a downloadable form that you can print as well. Please fill out the order forms and return to the PTA box no later than Wednesday December 13th by 2:00pm. Scrip orders will be available for pick up at the front office the following Wednesday, December 20th.

MONTY'S HOLIDAY SHOP

Monty’s Holiday Shop is a special tradition at Monte Vista. Our elves work all year to put this event together for our students to shop for holiday gifts for their family and friends.

Monty’s Holiday Shop will be open Thursday, December 7 through Tuesday, December 12. We will also offer open shopping for all students on Tuesday, December 12 from 2:30 to 3:30. A sign up for volunteers will be sent out thru the room reps so please be on the lookout for that!
