On your student's PE days, please ensure that they are wearing tennis shoes. If they are wearing Crocs, sandals, flip-flops or other type of shoe, they will not be able to participate in Jogging Club. This time will not be made up.

Gold Fight Win

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Humble ISD is excited to continue the partnership with three local non-profits, Addi's Faith Foundation, L3 Foundation, and Mothers Against Cancer, to support families battling pediatric cancer.

Families can purchase GFW shirts at Ace Hardware at both Kingwood and Atascocita locations and Pretty Little Things in Kingwood.

We would like to honor Humble ISD students who are currently facing the challenge of cancer or are cancer survivors at one of the football games listed above. Humble ISD and Greentree LOVE Volunteers!

If you would like to volunteer with Humble ISD, you must complete a

volunteer application. EVERYONE must complete a new application

each year. Examples of volunteering at GTE include (but are not

limited to): PTA, workroom (copies), serving in the cafeteria, field trip

chaperones, 5th Grade Patriot's Day.

The application is online. As a part of the process, a background

check is completed and within 72 hours, you will receive an email

notification regarding the status of your application. You can read

Bike Rodeo is Friday, September 29th for Kindergarten-2nd Grade.

Please join us for a great event designed to teach the basics of bike safety and promote helmet awareness. Plan to bring your child’s bike and helmet in the morning, each clearly labeled with your child’s name, grade and teacher. (Painter tape works great for this). We will have volunteers on hand to assist with bike drop off in the back door car rider line. Only those children with helmets will be permitted to ride through the obstacle course. Please see the schedule below for your child’s ride time.

All bikes must be picked up in the back parking lot after dismissal ends at 3:30.

Parent volunteers are welcome and needed! This event is always so much fun for the students and they love seeing their great gator parents helping and cheering them as they ride through the course! If you would like to help out, please sign up using the link below:

Future Mustang Week is Coming!

During the week of October 16th we will celebrate all things KHS with students, faculty, and the community during the 2nd annual Future Mustang Week. You can look forward to collaborative events with our current & future Mustangs, opportunities for parent engagement, and a community wide service project.
