The Millard Board of Education was surprised last night with an entire book of notes of thanks from the staff. We appreciate their dedication and hard work!

How can I monitor my child online? When should my child get a phone? What is “vamping” anyway? Join us tonight, Tuesday, March 3rd from 6:30 to 7:30 at Millard West High School for an information night for parents. Millard Public Schools and the Superintendent’s Interfaith Advisory have been asking these questions, and more importantly, trying to help families find answers. Through the #BeKind When You’re Online initiative, parents and community members are invited to a free session with START, Stand Together And Rethink Technology. This session is for parents. It is free and open to the entire community.

• Millard Public Schools was inducted into the Millard Business Association Hall of Fame.
• The Millard Business Association honored Ackerman Principal Skip Hanlon and Millard North Middle School Principal Dr. Scott Ingwerson with the 2019 Care Award.
• The Millard Business Association honored Clarke Community Facilitator Marian Fey with the Business Professional of the Year Award.
• Millard West High School business teacher Janine Ellis has been awarded the Nebraska Athletic Director Association's distinguished service award for her service and support of Millard West athletics.
  
• Cottonwood Elementary Special Education Teacher Greg Vuagniaux has been selected as a Star 104.5 Teacher of the Week!

• Kiewit Middle School Sixth Grade Teacher Katie Backhuus has been selected as a Star 104.5 Teacher of the Week!
