What's Happening at the Town of Ballston Community Library

The Town of Ballston Community Library is continuing the policy of masks for all while inside the Library.
Thank you for your support of the Library and for being respectful of our current safety procedures. The Library Board of Trustees are awaiting further guidance before making any policy changes. The Federal Communications Commission has launched a temporary program to help families and households struggling to afford Internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emergency Broadband Benefit provides a discount of up to $50/month toward broadband service for eligible households and up to $75/month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop, or tablet computer from participating providers.

Return of Storytime in the Park!
Please join us for Story Time in Jenkins Park! We will gather under the pavilion on Thursdays at 10:30 AM (weather permitting) for stories, rhymes and songs. We will follow all CDC and NYS health guidelines. Please bring chairs or blankets to sit on and we will socially distance. Masks will be required when social distancing cannot be maintained.
This is a drop-in program intended for kids ages 2-5 accompanied by a caregiver, siblings are always welcome.
Tax Forms
Federal and New York State tax forms are available. Forms are available inside the building during hours of operation, in the former location of magazines. If you need additional forms not available there, staff can print them for you. There will be a charge for multiple copies of special request forms and and special request instructions.
Show & Tell!
Have you done any of our Grab'n'Go kits? Have crafts you want to show off from a virtual Book Club? Borrowed a Board Game to have a Game Night, or made a cake with one of our pans?
