Class Meetings
Throughout this past week, Ms. Thomas and I conducted meetings with all members of the student body. For our senior class meeting, the administration teamed with the counseling department to provide valuable insight on the college process. With students in grades 9-11, we discussed their pledge of academic integrity, course offerings, the code of conduct and ways in which they can get involved in our school and community. We enjoyed this opportunity to meet with our students to help ensure a successful school year!
Back to School Night
Back to School Night, held Tuesday, September 21, was a great opportunity to welcome our parents/guardians to the Holmdel High School experience. Thank you to our teachers for developing engaging and informative presentations, to our students who served as guides throughout the evening, and most importantly to our parents, as you continuously display a commitment to your child's education at Holmdel High School.
Hornet Homeroom
Although we do not have a Homeroom period built into our schedule at HHS, we have assigned students to a homeroom mostly based on their grade, alphabetically by last name. The purpose of the "Hornet Homeroom" will be to assist in the organization of events throughout the school year, such as large group testing or a school-wide meeting on Roggy Field during Unit Lunch. This information will be shared with students via email and can also be found in PowerSchool.
