Dear AESD Families,
I trust this letter finds you well with your students participating in another week of shared growth and learning. Despite the unpredictable weather challenges we sometimes face, our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students remains our priority.
The decision to close schools on Monday was extremely difficult. However; given the information known on Sunday evening, our District made a decision to prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff and ensure the safety of our buildings and sites prior to having them occupied in the wake of a historic Tropical Storm. We will continue to ask all families to ensure good attendance and to have your children attend school. There is a direct link to improved academic achievement when students have good attendance.

Anaheim Elementary Succeeds! Family Night: Celebrating Bright Futures
Save the Date for a memorable evening on September 12, 2023 at Ponderosa Elementary School from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The highlight will be a captivating family concert by none other than the renowned 1 2 3 Andres, Latin Grammy Award winners. Starting at 5:30 PM, Andres and Christina will grace the stage, engaging audiences with their bilingual repertoire of Spanish and English tunes that are sure to get every member of the family up and dancing. We encourage you to bring your picnic essentials and comfortable lawn chairs to fully immerse yourselves in this vibrant experience. Let's embrace the joy of music, unity, and togetherness.
