Google Updates
- Create new file Shortcuts: Type them directly into in the omnibox (web address box in Chrome) to create new google files. Click on image to see shortcuts.
- Unlimited originality reports in classroom. Running a report will check student submissions via a google internet search as well as a repository in our domain. Every originality report adds student submissions to this repository. So the more you run them, the larger the repository will be for future checks.
- Smart Chips to quickly link files in docs, slides, etc. Instead of using the share link option, type "@" and then start typing the file name. You can also use this to add people, dates, calendar events. More info.
- Google Docs Check List Feature: You can now add checkable checklists to google docs. Great for teacher feedback and student self-tracking during a task/project. More info
