Message from the Principal
Dear students, parents, and guardians,
I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. I am thrilled and honored to join this wonderful school community as your new principal. My name is Alyre Morin, and I am genuinely excited to begin this journey with each and every one of you.
First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the teachers, staff, and administrators for their dedication and hard work in nurturing a positive learning environment. Your efforts have undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping the lives of our students, and I look forward to building upon this strong foundation.
To the students, you are the heart of this institution, and I am eager to get to know each of you better. Your unique talents, aspirations, and perspectives will continue to inspire us all. My vision for this school is to foster a safe, inclusive, and innovative learning space where you can explore your passions, embrace challenges, and grow into well-rounded individuals ready to conquer the world.
Parents and guardians, I recognize the importance of a strong partnership between the school and home. Your involvement and support are crucial elements in the success of our students. As we work with our students to help them learn about the world around them through the prescribed curriculum, we very much value the support that parents give their children at home as they strive to reach their learning goals. The foundation of a successful school is the cooperation between the students, staff, parents, and community. Parents are a vital part of our school. As well, your contributions are important to the school through volunteer time and support of school activities. Please do not hesitate to involve yourself in our school community. I encourage open communication and collaboration to ensure that we create the best educational experience for your children. Let us make this academic year a memorable and rewarding experience for each student. Together, we will inspire, learn, and grow.
May the Peace which passes all understanding, which has its sources within the very nature of Father, Son, and Spirit, be with us as we embark on a new school year. May the gentle whisper of the God of peace speak to us through our work with all students.
May God bless all students, staff, and parents.
Sincerely,
M Morin

School Fees
2023-2024 school fees are now available online
Once logged into the PowerSchool Public Portal click on “Student Fees” on the left-hand side to pay your student fees online. As we are anticipating and encouraging payment of fees to be made primarily online, there is no cash on hand at the school office. We ask that online payments be the primary method of payment. Thank you so much for your help with this.
**The Application for the Waiver of Fees Deadline is December 13, 2023. Forms are available in the office if needed or visit https://www.eics.ab.ca/parents-and-students/school-fees
Message from Transportation
The new Bus Status App is available now! With all the same features and functionality, Bus Status 4 is faster and more reliable for users.
We've given the Bus Status App a major update. The new App is faster, more reliable, and better optimized for school districts and the families that rely on Bus Status. Bus Status 3 has been removed from the App and Google Play Stores. Parents should download Bus Status 4 and choose their preferences to continue to receive Bus Status notifications. On September 29, Bus Status 3 will be retired and users will only receive Bus Status notifications on Bus Status 4. Click Here to learn more
