The very first Mustang Teacher Art Show will take place from 4:30 - 7:00 at the Mustang Education Resource Center on November 10. Have you ever wondered why our students are such accomplished visual artists? It's because they are being taught by active artists who make art themselves. Come see the amazing work done by our own visual art educators. Art for purchase will be available.
Bands on Stage
Mustang bands not only perform well on the field, they also do great things on stage. The 2nd hour and 4th hour Concert Bands under the direction of Jacob Hofer and Jonathan Knophel assisted by Shane Holquist and Chris Ozinga along with the MHS Jazz Ensemble under the direction off Cleon Chai presented their Fall Concert on October 20th. The Concert Bands presented great works by Oklahoma composer David Gorham along with fanciful works by Brian Beck and Brian Balmages. The Jazz Ensemble played a concert of classic works from the great tradition of 20th century dance bands. Great music was enjoyed and wonderful learning was demonstrated by all.
