These two cool dudes, Isaac and Owen, pooled their Wasco Bucks to purchase lunch at the VIP table this week! They were the envy of the grade level! They dined with our very own Wasco Wolf, got to wear cool sunglasses, and enjoyed a sweet treat. It was reported that students returned to their classes after lunch and quickly counted their “cash” to see if they had enough to purchase this cool reward. Students are really loving these unique Wasco experiences. Ask your child what they are saving for! More importantly, ask them what they are doing to earn those Wasco Bucks everyday. Positive reinforcement really does make a difference!

Early Release:

One Wednesday per month, students will have an early release and dismissal will occur at 2:10pm. Please refer to the district website.

If possible, please make sure to notify the teacher and the office if your student is leaving early.

Absences should be called in by 7:45 AM if your child will be absent for any portion of the day. The number is 331-228-2900 and has voicemail. You can call during the evening or overnight and leave a message. Please leave your child’s name, their teacher's name and the reason why your child is out. If they are ill, please indicate their symptoms. You are also welcome to email absence information to Candy Thoke in the main office at candace.thoke@d303.org.

When using the drop off lane, please drive all the way forward so that we can load/unload as many cars as possible. Please stay in your car. If you wish to get out and load your child, you are welcome to park in the lot. By following this procedure, we can expedite everyone’s waiting times in the car lane.

The Parent Education Series is D303's way of empowering parents and guardians to support their children's academic, social, and emotional needs through a series of information sessions. Become informed on specialized topics, engage in two-way dialogue with speakers and fellow parents, and become a support resource for others. The sessions offered are based on feedback from our parents and may feature teachers and staff, community partners, or guests from afar who specialize in topics relevant to our District. For the 10th year in a row, D303 is again partnering with Big Hearts of Fox Valley, which supports families in need during the holiday season. Big Hearts of Fox Valley Holiday Giving Program's purpose is to provide holiday gifts for D303 students and their younger siblings whose families face significant financial hardship. Through Big Hearts, members of the D303 community anonymously shop for wish list items. D303 social workers will review applicants. If you are struggling and facing significant financial hardship and would like assistance providing holiday gifts to your children, click here.
