Hello San Joaquin Creekside Families!
The year is flying by quickly! Here is a quick update of activities:

February 22nd Dine Out: Dear IVA Families:Please join us on February 22nd for our monthly PTSA dine out fundraiser. GroupRaise is asking for 15 RSVP's to ensure this event for us. Thank you to those of you who joined our January DINE OUT at BJs to support our PTSA. We hope to receive a check from BJ’s soon and will be reviewed during the financial reporting at our next meeting.
Student Advocacy Trip to Sacramento
Our two student representatives from San Joaquin and Creekside High Schools have been chosen and will be traveling to Sacramento in March 2023, along with other high school students across Irvine, to learn about educational legislation that impacts students across California. More details about this PTSA Program to follow.
Multicultural Fair - coming Friday March 24th 2023
San Joaquin Creekside PTSA and ASB will be partnering with IVA (Irvine Virtual Academy) PTA to offer the Multicultural Fair at the Creekside campus. Students and their families are welcome to participate!
Choose to promote your culture with a map, flag, food, artifacts, clothing, traditional dances, games…really anything to raise awareness about the culture.
We will provide a table on the day of the event, you can bring all of the items you would like to display.
The IVA elementary students will also be choosing cultures and San Joaquin Creekside students who are not displaying a culture will be available to support the younger students and will be given documentation of their volunteer hours.
We are very excited to promote awareness, appreciation and respect for the diverse cultures that our families and students are a part of. If you would like to volunteer to support this program please reach out to Connie Stone at president@sjcptsa.com
Our March 21st PTSA meeting will be our Election Meeting to elect PTSA officers for the 2023-2024 school year.
We will be taking nominations from the floor for the following positions at the March meeting. You can also nominate yourself if you have been a PTA member for 30 days prior to the election meeting. Would love to have your input on our PTSA with as much (or little) time as you might be able to give.
Joining the PTSA does not commit you to volunteering so please consider just joining to support our students if you are unable to volunteer your time. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any interest in running for the following positions for the 2023-2024 school year:
