K.M.S.S.I.P.A.A.I.P.U.!O.B.!
Our visitors from Yellowstone Academy enjoyed walking around our building and seeing all of the amazing things that you are doing in your classes. Conscious Discipline structures were everywhere, but just like snowflakes, no two rooms were alike. You each put your own personality on these different structures. Safe places, Friends and Family Boards, Wish Wells, Celebrations, Brain Smart Starts, are all done in different ways by our various staff members.
I enjoyed getting emails this past week with your guesses to the secret message. I enjoyed getting emails about the kind things that you did for each other, and the suggestions you had to improve Keller. Some suggestions I will definitely implement, and others would cost me my job if I did.
Finally, our Veterans Day assembly was amazing!! Our Fine Arts team did an exceptional job with their performances that truly honored our men and women in uniform. Our students did a great job of quieting down when needed so the assembly could move along, which also meant our staff did a fantastic job of monitoring students.
On a daily basis, I am reminded of how blessed our students are to have you in their lives, and how blessed I am to have you as a part of our Keller school family. Keep being phenomenally awesome and I prefer us!
Shout Outs
Thanksgiving Lunch
- Modified schedule with 45 minute lunches. Teachers that have 3rd period conference period will help during one of the lunch periods.
- Extra cafeteria line for teachers and parents (you'll need a pre-purchased ticket for this line).
- Tables setup in the wood floor gym for our parents to eat.
Hopefully, these changes will allow for a smooth Thanksgiving lunch!!

Dismissal Change
Our Safe and Civil team met last week and suggested a change to our dismissal procedures. The non-car duty team that walks students to the front of the building will now continue walking their students all the way outside, and then continue around to the side of the building to keep walkers walking. These teachers can enter back into the building through the gym or cafeteria doors. 5th grade Math will get the pleasure of an extended walk this week.
