Our Pumpkin Extravaganza wraps up this week, and we have so many fantastic pumpkins! Take a peek at the video below from Mrs. Mancuso. We are glad to have them on display in the library. If your child is the proud owner of one of the pumpkins, please help remind them to take it home by November 7th.

We are excited to partner with the Perot Museum again this year for our TCE S.T.E.M. Night (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math). The museum staff is traveling to Town Center for a fun-filled, family night of learning. Space will be our theme this year, and we also have the Tech Truck returning with new stations to explore! Join us from 5:30-7:00 PM on Thursday, November 7th to explore 20 different stations throughout the cafeteria and gym. All of our TCE staff will be here to join in the fun with you!

Each year the Lions Club of Coppell provides holiday baskets and toys to families in need in Coppell's attendance area. The food baskets and toys are delivered by members of the Lions Club of Coppell, and the identify of the recipients is kept confidential. All they need to know is the address and the family demographics, sizes, and any special needs the family may have. A copy of the family input sheet is linked below. Please return to our school nurse or front office by December 1st.

If you haven't had a chance to send back the signed School - Parent Compact that was sent home last week, please take a moment to review it, sign, and return to your child's homeroom teacher. As a Title 1 school, we collaborate with parents and staff each year to update our school compact. It is a great reminder of the partnership required between the school and home in order to fully support each of our kids. I have also included a link to the document below.

CISD is currently surveying our families in order to gain insight into your perception of our schools and district effectiveness. This survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete and will be a valuable source of information for us, as we work to make our schools and our district the best that they can be. You may complete the survey online between now and Nov. 4, using a computer, tablet or smartphone. To take the survey, please visit https://surveys.panoramaed.com, then select your child(ren)’s school. If you have multiple children in CISD, we ask that you take the survey for each school your child attends.

CISD is hosting its final football Feeder Pattern night for CMS North at the Nov. 8 football game vs. Irving Nimitz. Students will receive free admission to a game on their designated night with purchase of parent/guardian adult ticket. We ask that parents attend the game with their elementary and middle school children. We look forward to welcoming CMS North, Cottonwood Creek, Denton Creek, Town Center and Wilson to Buddy Echols field that night.

Please plan to join us Monday, November 11th in the TCE Gym at 8:00 AM to help us honor our Town Center families and friends who are veterans. We'd like to extend the invitation to any veterans that are able to attend. It's a small way for us to say thank you. The program will be approximately thirty minutes, and we will have refreshments afterwards for our special guests and their families.

We are also putting together a digital photo display this year, so if possible, please send in a photo of your special veteran, even if they are not able to attend the ceremony. We will collect these through Thursday, November 7th.
