Washington DC Trip

Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am thrilled to announce that you are invited to our virtual meeting about the Summer 2024 tour to
Washington, D.C. for students. To attend, please be sure to register through this link. This is an
amazing opportunity for your student to learn more about our country, gain new perspectives, get out
of their comfort zone and build skills for the future. Join us for the chance to enroll and go over

Summer Camp Opportunities

The following eleven programs will provide academic enrichment for students this summer to Arkansas students .

Student ID Badges

This semester, each student at SMS received a personal identification badge and lanyard to be worn each day at school. We have added these for streamlining processes such as lunches, library, transportation, and event attendance. Students will be required to wear their badge each day to identify them as a student at Sheridan Middle School, and replacement badges will cost the student $5. Please encourage our students to wear their ID badges daily. Thank you all for your support of SMS.

Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures

Please watch this video that shows our drop off and pick up areas. Please do not drop off your student at the front door before 8:00 am. Students can be dropped using the street behind the school starting at 7:30 am. Please do not drive through the bus lane. This will ensure the safety of all students. Thank you for your help with this.
