Crusader Families,

As we enter the holiday season, our students will need extra support and love. This season is already proving to be the most challenging due to COVID restrictions. Family events will be limited or cancelled and we want to make sure our students are safe and happy! I encourage you to keep your circles small for everyone's safety and perhaps try some new activities or traditions with your kids.

We have about a month left in this semester. Participating in classes and submitting work remains a priority for our students. Please encourage them to take advantage of before and after school tutoring and remind them that Asynchronous time is not free time! They can get so much done during the asynchronous portion of their classes, where there isn't live instruction, but plenty of teacher support.

Please tune in to the SUHSD board meeting on November 30th to get the latest update from the district. The plans for January will be shared at this meeting. You can stream the meetings live on YouTube.

If you haven't already, please make sure you take a few minutes to check your district email and look for an email from Balfour.com so that you can follow the links provided to submit your own picture for the 2020-2021 Bonita Vista Middle School yearbook. It's very easy and only takes a few minutes. Instructions to submit are below, but you need to find your own personal link that is included in the email that has been sent to you multiple times from Balfour. Please take a minute and search for that email.

BVM will be serving meals to all children in our community every Tuesday from 11am-1pm. No pin number required! Just drive through our BVM driveway to receive your meals.
